@heyrosalie
exactly what I was thinking…just fun for 5 minutes and you don’t read cause it’s suddenly getting booooring…
thanks to apple to have a gadget that makes reading boring as hell
OMG thats amazing.
My phone from 5 years back does vertical flipping also.
Wow look at all those finger prints…better have screen cleaner always handy with this useless device. And yeah, this is taking the fun out of reading, think about it. If you no longer need your imagination to conjure up the images in your head then whats the point of reading? Instead you’re playing with some dumbing down machine. Big Brother filling you till your mind atrophies…always singing and dancing and filling your every thought for you; I bet people don’t even know what book its from.
Pretty cool
@misctube oh so your books dont have pictures then, maybe we should only read books that are printed in Times New Roman, get serious times move on, wether you like it or not print can be a more interactive experience and things will change with devices like these
@whlphil No fool, theyre called novels. And I dont read childrens books or graphic novels either. This isn’t about times changing its about companies trying to make normal life obsolete by way of brainwashing. They want your money and your interest in becoming more lazy. You may argue that this saves paper, yeah right, just like war helps peace. This is all just a scheme to take everyones money, imagination, and free will. Go be an islave with the other idiots…haha idiots get it? “i”
amazing! this ipad makes reading more fun especially for kids..
Perfect for ADHD kids
Thats all it does?
It’s like a high-tech pop-up book. Cool.
haha!! coolness.. no need movies, dvds. this is already action packed.
how much is it?
amazing
@heyrosalie you must be a lot of fun at parties…
To be honest, it looks very cool and you would only buy this for the coolness factor, for kids or for reading to kids. Isn’t that the same as the pop-up ‘Wind in the willows’ I bought for my little boy? If I was going to read this or any other book for myself I would not want the animated stuff on it, not because it kills my imagination, but because it is a distraction. For the cynics that say it’s all for the money, I bet the devs on this worked on it because it looks cool more than for money.
@infalliblle i was responding to a comment that said it took the fun out of reading, and i meant it like, this sort of interactive picture thing has been around for ages.
as in its a good thing.
as in it seems really fun.
@soamiguy If you hate art, you will definitely hate the iPad!
The Bible needs a version of this!
